At Landslide Limousine the owner Bradley Stonefield should consider the following recommendations for training, training methods, and evaluation strategies. Training evaluation examines the training process, determines the effectiveness of the training, and the organizational results due to training (Cascio, 2015). This can be done in many ways. One of these is by conducting an organizational analysis. Incorporated in this process is what is known as the SWOT analysis. This will identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the business at the current time. So the first step is to figure out the strengths of the company. These should include great customer service, clean, well-maintained vehicles, and being able to get the clients to their destination in a safe and timely manner. Possible weaknesses in the Austin, Texas market could be not having enough drivers and vehicles to handle the load of clients, and inexperienced drivers. Opportunities should include the vast amount of possible clients to serve including tourists, business clients, wedding parties, and sporting events. The last step in the SWOT analysis is threats. In this case the possible threats include the amount of competition in the market, prices charged to customers for services rendered, and being able to meet the needs of clients. Knowing this information allows the business to train properly for the market. One on one training, riding along on a trip with an employee, can help the manager determine what the employee needs to work on to be a better driver The manager can also assess the driver’s capability of satisfying the customer with his or her services.
