MacArthur and Associates are 50 years old. They have 50 years of records, projects, departments, business plans and business forms. They have a history of slow growth and change. The storage of these files is in boxes that are off site. They would like to have a learning library where some of the historical records would be available for employees to learn from. The objective is to learn from the past so the company can gain overall performance improvement. The company wants to know what they should do with their records. Workers will be available to use the knowledge contained in some of the records to see where the organization was so they can build for the future. The decision to know what the company should do with the records is in debate. …show more content…

The teaching staff has identified the employees that need to attend classes in order to understand how to use a computer. d. The teaching staff has assessed employees and has established courses for employees to learn about the new technological changes made to the overall system. (The intranet, company’s internet, online processing of orders, processing of customers’ account records, etc.) e. The teaching staff will make sure they have covered the different theories that can be used to help people learn. There are also different stages that people will progress through stages of learning in order to be effective learning. “Kolb’s learning theory sets out four distinct learning styles, which are based on a four-stage learning cycle” (McLeod, 2013). f. Kolb’s four different learning styles are listed below:
(1a.) Converger - “are characterized by abstract conceptualization and active experimentations” (McCloud, 2013). They use deductive reasoning and make application of ideas.
(1b.) Diverger – They use “concrete experience and reflective observation. They are imaginative and are good at coming up with ideas and seeing things different perspectives” (McCloud,
