And also how to maneuver service users as safe as so not to cause any injuries either to myself or service user. Which I would like refreshed every 6 months to year if possible. I have also undertaking training in Infection Control, RIDDOR, and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health as part of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Identifying risks and how to deal with them in the precise procedures.As well as learning about all other aspects of this employment learning about the rights of the service user and the carer The Human Rights Act 1998 and about the right to treat the individual with dignity , respect and choices. Promoting this in my practices. Keeping everyone in the work environment safe, following guidelines in the Scottish Social Services Council codes of practice, for example 2.2 Communication in an appropriate open. Accurate and straightforward way and be accountable for the quality of my work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving knowledge and skills. I always try to communicate with new and every service user in the way they prefer either British Sign Language to the best of my ability by learning from the getting to know me book at work.
