Humorous Wedding Speech By Sir Mills Barrington
Well good evening. Allow me to briefly introduce myself. Address me as Sir Mills Barrington, born 18th of April 1623 in London, England. I like to consider myself a man of importance, sophistication, wealth and knowledge, with a strong belief in God almighty. However, I have a little story to tell, a story that many find hard to believe. I tell you fellows, knowledge can only take you so far. For what I experienced exactly 10 years ago, my intellect would be of no assistance. For the abnormal, the paranormal and the haunted...seal your doom. I have seen many things. Things that no other being should witness. For the death of many people I tell you, were gruesome and twisted, truly from the darkest side of Hell.
November 20, 1652. Life was indeed ordinary. I was due for a journey from London to Oxford, for business purposes. It is a tiring 5 hour journey by horse and carriage, however, I thought nothing of it. ‘Twas close to my departure for my journey, and I was ensuring that I had everything necessary for my business in Oxford. With all sorted, I climbed into the carriage.
‘Twas 3

I awoke remaining in the same position where I fell to my darkness, the full moon was high indicating midnight. I sat up in a flash, however the carriage had gone, and there was no trace of the gory mess that used to paint the white of the earth. I was truly confused. However my confusion quickly turned into a stomach tearing fear, evil demonic hands is what I last saw in front of my eyes before the giant claws wrapped around my face and dragged me away. This evil being...Was much stronger than man. I was thrown into a place of darkness, a cave of some sort treated like a dungeon. Other living beings that were emaciated and bleeding with fear draining the blood from their faces were trapped, just like me, in this darkness with the lingering stench of death and human waste, and the horrifying wail and cry of the fearful beings that were literally losing their

I tried to open my eyes but all I could see was darkness. All around me darkness sits, still and quiet. I heard a creak, then a minuscule and weak voice talked, “Sydney, are you alright?” “Mmm” was all I could get out of my weak and tired body. Then the voice talked to me again, “Sydney, this is Dad speaking. The doctor just told me that the impact of you hitting the seat in front of you was very hard, it blinded you for life.” Darkness grabbed me, never letting me be perky and happy again…

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, my name John Rapalje and I am here on the behalf of my fellow loyalists to say that the colonies should remain as a part of the British Empire, our mother country. Although we are divided regarding this issue, I want everyone to understand that we, the loyalist, want the best for every single one of you just like the patriots and our colonies will receive a lot more benefit if we stay with Great Britain. As a farmer with a family and my slaves to take care off, the land that I owned is what has been keeping my family well fed and providing my slaves with the food that they needed to survive. Breaking away from Great Britain meaning that the colonists will lose their biggest trade partner, which mean that…

Tree branches thrust themselves at me as and monstrous bushes slowed my progress. Suddenly I caught a glance of something quickly scurrying by stooped over in the darkness. Freighted I jumped back and scrambled over a giant fallen tree truck covered with moss. And as I rounded a corner I could feel the unseen eyes that watched me.…

“In a mere blink after I first set foot upon this mysterious, new land called America, two years flew by. The fall of 1636 was fast approaching. Leaves turned bright hues of yellows and orange, though mostly brown, and there was a subtle bite that crisply lingered about the air at daybreak. It was only five o’clock when I slipped out of the house, as silent as the night that had come and gone. This was my thinking time. Usually, I walked around the estate, which lay just outside of Boston, and that day was no different. I most likely started my walk by reminiscing of my hometown in Mother England. Alford in Lincolnshire, England had been wonderfully picturesque and quaint. On July 20, 1591, I was baptized as Anne Marbury by my loving parents, Francis Marbury, a reverend, and Bridget Dryden, my wonderful mother. We moved around a lot, mostly because Father was banned from preaching at several churches due to his radical philosophies. In fact, he had been imprisoned and put under house arrest more than once (Reuben 2). I supposed the reflection of my childhood was brought about by the evening before. There had been the birth of the Atkins’ twin boys, Hugh and Silas, as well as the Doran’s, who had their firstborn, Humility (Barnett 1). Being one of the most trusted midwives in the area, of course I was there to help them (Reuben 2). Goody Atkins, after the successful delivery of two rosy…

It was still in its nondestroyed state. I was with my friends from night one plus my friend's mother that I mentioned earlier as well, and my own parents. I walked into the building and I saw that room with a locked door that has the light on at all times. I was told to never go inside of that room. They told me that it was not for me to go into. I was going on vacation to this house for some reason so I had to unpack my bag in a bedroom. The house was very old so I ignored any movement that I heard I put my things on the bed and I was very cold. My mom called out for me to go to the main room. I went out there and noticed that people were crucified, hanged, torn in half, and burned. The door with a mysterious light was open and the girl was standing in front of it. I was afraid not because of the bodies but because the door was open. The girl motioned for me to come to her and I was unable to resist walking to her. As I got closer she looked more disfigured and evil. Her eyes were the biggest part that I remember. They were black with light pupils. She had claws like in my earlier dreams and she had a scream that paralyzed me. She ran at me and right as she was about to hit me I saw every event that I have that I have done to help or hinder people in real life. This felt like it went on forever and then I woke up screaming and in a cold sweat. My mother was trying to wake me up for ten minutes because of my screams. I knew that something was wrong at this…

The last thing I remember is falling asleep during a late night rerun of the Twilight Zone. So when it happened, it was especially eerie, like I had stepped into a lost episode, but Rod Serling was nowhere in sight; for moment, neither was anybody else. At 4:31 AM a merciless shove pushed me off my bed. I crawled on the floor, trying to escape the cruel, uncontrollable shaking, but it followed me. It followed me down the stairs and underneath the dining room table where my family joined me. Little did I realize that before the morning sun rose again, I would see everything differently.…

I couldn’t sleep at all last night. The nightmare of the past events haunted me all throughout the night. The visage of the body being laid out and defiled in the middle of the cold, barren road was still within my head like looking at myself in the mirror. I was near the brink of collapse, unable to bear what had just happened. I stayed in bed till about midday when I woke up from my slumber, my face dry from tears.…

Good evening King Malcolm, Lord Siward, esteemed Earls and Thanes, and loyal friends. We are gathered here on this beautiful evening to celebrate the coronation of King Malcolm and the passing of the watchful tyranny of Macbeth. While we savour the glory of victory, we must acknowledge a great loss. It is my duty to pay homage to my brother Thane and worthy friend, Banquo. Banquo has long been a loyal son of Scotland. Given the overwhelming chaos that ensued his death we have not found a setting suitable to reflect upon his life. Tonight, we have that setting to revere his life as a callous warrior, a loving father and an honourable man.…

My rod was perched on a branch while I took a small break to check on my bait. Then in the corner of my eye I saw a child, no more than 8 years old, playing by the river. This was no time for someone this young to be all alone, so I decided to speak to him. I proceeded to the boy when suddenly I halted. My sixth sense echoed for me to stop, a mere 10 seconds passed when I pondered over why I had stopped. I was surprised at the abrupt change of weather, my body became surrounded by a ‘cold’ darkness and colds descended from heaven to earth. My body was shaking as a chill swam up my back tickling my hairs. A large figure advanced towards William, a monster, it had to be. Its feet pounded the ground as the innocent boy turned around. The minutes that followed were ones I could never forget… They exchanged a small conversion when the monster like object screamed “ You are related to Victor, you shall not survive”. The boy was picked up then he cascaded to the floor, life slowly exited him while I ran in fear”.…

It was a dark rainy night; the rain came down hard, sheet upon sheet, of bone chilling rain. I lay relaxed on the couch watching a horror movie when suddenly there was a loud crack of thunder and then there I lay all alone in complete darkness. I felt a little nervous but hazardously made my way to the kitchen by the guidance of the moons light. I went in search of a torch and found one on the kitchen table. I flicked it on and at that precise moment I heard a crash from above. I started to make my way towards the stairs; torch clutched tightly in one hand and a gun in the other. As I ascended the stairs I felt an ice cold gust of wind which made me tremble all over. As I reached the second floor I found that the window was no more but shattered glass on the ground. I spun around in search of the perpetrator. As I made my way towards the shattered window something powerful tackled me and knocked the breath right out of me. I started to collapse to the ground; this sent my torch and my gun flying through the air and land in complete darkness. I turned towards my attacker and gasped in shock. It seemed like a vicious, four eyed beast with long fangs which looked like it was craving flesh; my flesh. I searched along the ground for a weapon that may assist me and to my relief I came across a sharp object. It was the shards of broken glass from the window. I grasped it tightly and started to stab the beast ferociously. Its skin was hard but I could feel the glass piercing it and its unusually thick blood oozing down my arm. I felt its hot putrid breath upon my face as it growled viciously revealing rows upon rows of sharp yellow teeth. It started to back away but I could see that it was preparing for one final attack. The moon lit up the entire room with an array of bright light and I managed to spot the gun. I made a dive for it and at the same time the beast made a dive for me. It ripped through my leg with is enormous teeth as I…
