The problem with depression is that people fail to categorize it as a clinical disorder. Most of the times, general public associate it with a person’s inability to cope up with problems and stresses of daily life. The case is entirely not so. Depression is not a state, it is an illness. It is important to realize that a person suffering from depression needs attention, care, therapies or even medication. They do not need any of your suggestions or not-so-encouraging mocking to return to their normal state.
