Imagine yourself being shot in the head just because you were a girl who wanted an education, that’s a fighter. Malala Yousafzai is a young fighter who fights for children’s education all around the world. She was shot riding the bus one day to school by the Taliban (who are against girls having an education). She was recovering in England and now lives there so that she can be safe from the Taliban in Pakistan. Malala is a fighter because she fought for children's rights to education, miraculously survived being shot multiple times, and did not take defeat from the Taliban. Malala is a fighter because she fought for children's rights to education. She peacefully protested the Taliban’s law, she got the word out through a blog, and encouraged others to fight for what is right. In “I Am Malala,” it states, “Malala Yousafzai refused to be silenced and fought for her right to an education.” Based on the evidence one can conclude, that Malala was a fighter because she spoke out about her rights and gave huge amounts of effort to make her education a right. Therefore, Malala is a fighter because she fought for children's rights to education, miraculously survived being shot multiple times, and did not take defeat from the Taliban.
She was on the verge of dying, survived the long flight of going to a hospital in England, and she proved the people wrong who thought she was going to die. In the text it states, “She was shot in the head while riding the bus home from school, and few expected her to survive.” This evidence proves that Malala was a fighter because she survived through very rough times.
