I Want To Go To Everest: My American Dream

The American dream is an expression often used to describe freedom, Opportunity, and the ability to work hard and become somebody. My Great Grandfather chased after the American dream while fleeing from his homeland of Greece to come here to America to build a life for himself. Everest is my American dream. By going to Everest I get a chance to make something of myself and I am given the gift of following my passion. I have known this is what I have wanted to do since I was fourteen years old when my mother was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and subsequently started developing agonizing migraines. I have always been the type of man that likes to help people but I never realized what I wanted to do to help, and that purpose was to help people
heal and feel better. I would massage my mom's shoulders and her head to help relieve her pain. Just watching her suffer for a day and sometimes it could be a devastating week long endeavor before she could even come out of her room. My passion for people has brought me to Everest so I can gain the knowledge and skills needed to become the best massage therapist I can be, so I can help my mother and my future clients achieve the enjoyment of living a normal life with their families. With the help of Everest I will be able to achieve these goals and not only help myself achieve the American dream, but also everyone I love and care about.
