Your program in Forensic Science (Advanced track) is one of the only programs providing a number of different options when it comes to its curricular requirements. This allows individuals to tailor the program to their specific interests, in my case, these are Forensic Biology and Forensic Anthropology. Another reason is the vast number of opportunities for internships at prestigious places including the New York State Police Forensic Investigation Center and the FBI. These internships allow students to gain real hands-on experience in their field of study and make them more appealing to future employers. In addition, the diverse research being conducted by faculty at Syracuse University aligns well with my interests in skeletal biology, forensic anthropology, DNA analysis, and genetics. I would appreciate the opportunity to work with Dr. Novak, Mr. Marciano, and Dr. Sweder. These three professors are performing interesting research with a focus in my areas of interest, and they could be the basis for my thesis
