I Would Be A Minimum Wage Apprentice To A Mentor
I would become a minimum-wage apprentice to a mentor. It would help me gain plenty of experience for my future job (being a veterinarian). After all, how can I be great at my job with little experience, I need guidance. I want to be amazing at what I do. So, learning from someone who is spectacular at what they do would be an honor and I’d be glad to learn from them. I can learn all their tricks, all of their strengths and weaknesses. This will help me mold my future job together. Plus, in the end when I do something remarkable I can say, “And the student has become the master.” After I speak those words, I’ll know I’m truly ready.
I remember when I was younger I had a summer job mucking stalls at a stable. In return, I would get free horseback lessons and some cash. When I got there early enough I got to take the horses out to the pastures.
There was a lady whom always helped me and gave me lessons. She taught me tricks on how to handle horses, to feed them, and to treat wounds without having to call a vet. I will never forget when she taught me a very effective way to solve a problem. The effective way was to use diapers.

He was a race horse on his way to the slaughterhouse, but he’d been rescued just in time. Now, Nick was quite the accident prone horse. Always getting hurt or getting extremely dirty. Although, one day he cut one of his legs. The lady brought him in and began to clean the wound. Since wraps were super expensive, there was a cheaper way to keep his wound from getting infected. DIAPERS! She used a diaper to cover up the wound, it would stay in place, and Nick is able to move his leg. Back then bandages for horses went from $20-$70. Nowadays it's not as expensive. Just comparing a box of diapers for $30 to a couple of bandages for a lot more is a better way to save money. I will never forget this neat shortcut, it taught me a cheaper way to save money when it comes to

She drove us to her mother's old house, now an office with the original front facing window and old stone covering the outside walls, and told me about her mother taking her to the elementary school in Tuba City on the Hopi Reservation where she worked as a teacher. She explained how she found her interest in reading and learning through her mother's books in the classroom - and explained the "who, what, when, where, and why" of every question. She told of the five Babbitt brothers who founded Flagstaff, which Verkamp sister each married, which of the five brothers is my great-great-great grandfather - David Babbitt - why they came from Cincinnati, Ohio to Arizona, which of her mother's sisters stayed in Flagstaff, left, and where they went. She showed me her mother and father's lives through pictures, and learning the history of my hometown and asking about it was (and still is) an interesting subject I can learn, as well as wishing to learn further about the traditional school subjects than the little extent of material provided to me during elementary…

She taught me that even though when sometimes everything is going wrong, that you need to keep your head up and keep moving forward. She lost her parents, but stayed strong. She was caught two times by the Nazis, and escaped with her family’s help. She was caught a last time, and this time, she was bound to die. While in the tunnel, she could hear the screams of the Jews getting tortured, but managed to persevere and make it out alive. I believe that is important to not give up, as well as keep moving forward even when times get rough. Nothing lasts forever, and that applies to harsh feelings as well. Everyone should remember that if you put bad things in the past, it’ll be forgotten…

HIPPA Violations need to be taken very seriously in the healthcare field. I am sure most employees are not aware of the penalties involved with a HIPPA violation. The American Recovery Act of 2009 created a tiered penalty for HIPPA violations. But it is the Office of Civil Rights that determines the amount of each penalty, and is dependent upon the nature and extent of harm that results from the breach (CMS, 2013).…
