One of the main reasons I would take this picture frame is ,unlike modern pictures, I could never get these pictures back so if I were to lose them it would be perennate. Also these pictures are all of my family, so they mean a lot to both me and my family. They all have been either in my room or in a scrapbook for as long as I can remember, so they have a lot of sentimental value to me and my family. These pictures are all of my family and me when I was younger. This means that I am usually reminded of good memories while looking at these picture. The fact that these pictures are of me and my family, can not be replaced and as a result cannot be lost or they are gone forever, and that they bring back good memories make this picture frame very …show more content…
THis picture; however, symbolizes more than my parents, for it symbolizes me being young and all the fun I had when I was younger. This is because it has always been in my room; no matter how times we moved houses this picture has always ended up in my room. This picture has survived more years than I have, and has also been in my house longer than I have. It is because of this that the picture holds so much value. But this picture also holds a lot of real world value because it's so rare that if it was traded in my family would receive a decent amount for it. The disney picture in my room holds both great personal and financial

Arthur Schopenhauer once said, “Mostly it is loss which teaches us about the worth of things.” All of the characters in the stories learn the significance of what the things they once had. One similar theme that runs throughout those three works, “To Build a Fire” by Jack London, “The Fish” by Elizabeth Bishop, and “The Story of an Hour” by Kate Chopin is the loss of something significant. Determining whether the God you praise and worship is choleric because of your presence by the sins you’ve created is a never ending battle in the 17th-18th centuries. Upon the Burning of Our House is a poem, with nine stanzas, written by Anne Bradstreet explaining her understanding and able to live and learn from sin with God. Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God is a work, written as a sermon, by Jonathan Edwards who preaches to all the non-Puritan sinners, that if they don’t convert and take blame for their sins, God’s anger toward them will be unbearable and force them to the pits of hell. Analyzing Bradstreet’s and Edwards’ works, a reader can distinguish the personality of the two writers and the different views of God that people acquire.…

One trait the Puritans greatly valued is faith. Their faith in God was fierce and unrelenting. The Puritans believed God always had a plan for them and never challenged it even if they were unhappy with the results. “ Verses upon the Burning of your House”, is a poem about a woman, Anne Bradstreet, who loses all her goods in life but never her faith. Anne Bradstreet displays her faith in God by saying, “I blest His name that gave and took, / That laid my goods now in the dust. / Yea, so it was, and so ‘twas just. /It was his own, it was not mine,”(29). Bradstreet was never angry with what happened because she believed there was a greater power behind it. She may have been sad but never questioned it or God, showing her unrelenting faith in God. Jonathan Edwards, a pastor, also shows his fierce faith in God in his sermon,…

I also carry something like a collar somewhat silvered, which is a present from my second brother, Marco, who is living in Peru. That collar reminds me to my brother because it belonged to him. He had earned it in his school; because of he obtained one of the first places in the honor roll. But what reminds me most about my family, are the pictures I carry in my wallet. I carry memories, memories of people who I loved and love, memories of places that I will never forget as the old left house where I went with my friends of my childhood to play and to tell stories about the ghosts that lived in that house. Sometimes when I am lonely or feel very bad. I take my pictures out from my wallet and try to remember those beautiful times when I enjoyed the company of my dear beings. Those times that will never come back. It is…

    Fire Insurance

Fire insurance is a contract under which the insurer in return for a consideration (premium) agrees to indemnify the insured for the financial loss which the latter may suffer due to destruction of or damage to property or goods, caused by fire, during a specified period. The contract specifies the maximum amount, agreed to by the parties at the time of the contract, which the insured can claim in case of loss. This amount is not, however, the measure of the loss. The loss can be ascertained only after the fire has occurred. The insurer is liable to make good the actual amount of loss not exceeding the maximum amount fixed under the policy.…
