We believe that one of the biggest reasons Donald J. Trump gained so much support is for the fact that he promised that he would fix our immigration problem. President Trump is willing to take drastic measures unlike many other presidents we have had in history. In order to fix our immigration problem we need a president who is going to take big risks in effort to solve our problems. Illegal immigration proves to be one of the largest controversial topics in our country, with 321.4 million people in our country there comes a variety of opinions from all types of political parties. Within the next few years with Donald trump in office we believe it is our best opportunity to resolve illegal immigration. We believe that to resolve this issue it must be done peacefully and although we think that president Donald Trump brings awareness to the issue, building a wall is not the way to resolve our issues. However, if they want to remain in the United States all immigrants should go through the legal process of becoming a U.S citizen even if it takes an extended period of time. This proves to us that the immigrants who want to start a life here are willing to become a citizen of the United States. If immigrants refuse to undergo the process for citizenship they should be deported within one year of their notice date. If they continue to refuse to leave the premises they will be escorted by force. To ensure that the immigrants take this matter seriously their employers and landowners should be notified of their warning notice as well. If the immigrants refuse to become citizens the employers and landowners must remove them off the premises or there will be consequences. These methods can be considered harsh and immoral. However, it is unfair to the U.S citizens who are finding it difficult acquire jobs while the illegal immigrants are taking them all. As far as jobs go for immigrants, they should verify their citizenship by providing a green card in order to acquire a job. This will give opportunities to American citizens who are trying to find jobs rather than hiring the illegal immigrants who are taking the jobs that the citizens deserve. If an employee does not provide evidence of citizenship, such as a green card, the manager should dismiss them
