Immigration Reform Persuasive Speech

Imagine the whole world around you being different than from how you used to know it, as the next generation there might be some things you might not know about or understand. The struggle, pain, sweat, tears, and danger one goes through when coming to the United States is an experience only those who wish to pursue a life with enriched education, a place to call home and work to establish a greater and meaningful lesson in which ones family can appreciate. Our president Donald Trump, has established an immigration reform in which he has said, “Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation that is what it means to have laws and to have a country” (Ramos). I am persuading you as the next generation, you may not know this, but you will slowly see changes. The immigration reform that our President has established will affect many, maybe even you and it is a law that no one should go through.
The immigration reform to which will affect millions of immigrants has taken a toll on the United States.
According to the article on CNN, “Pressed on how he would deport 11 million undocumented immigrants from the country, Donald Trump said Wednesday he would build a "deportation force” (LoBianco). For the next generation this could affect many of you, and if its not you then, it could possibly be someone you may know. Our President is and will take extreme measure to make this law pass. As the next generation, you should be informed, other plans he has in mind, he plans to stop immigrants and sending back immigrants to there country and if they don’t then punishment would be sending them to jail (Ramos). He is taking extreme measures that one should be informed. Immigrants come to the United States for a better living that they don’t have back at
home. The students and possibly involving your generation will become affected when it comes to education. According to the article, Will Trump Slam the Door on Obama’s Dreamers,? Trump has planned to not just affect those who come in illegaly, but even those who are already here obtaining an education through the dream act that Obama passed when he was in presidency, could also now be affected by the new laws that Trump has planned (Politico). Thousands of people will continue to be affected by the new rules he applies. It is important to know that when things seem different one day you will realize that the world is not how it used to be. As a result, I am asking the next generation to always have a voice and let it be known how you feel about the outcomes that are occurring and will occur in this case not much can be done, yet it is best to be informed and acknowledge that what is occurring will affect thousands of immigrants all over the United States.
