Importance Of Punishment
It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this option?
What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behavior to children? It has been rightly said that today’s youths are leaders of tomorrow. Hence, it becomes the prime responsibility of the parents and well-wishers to raise the children properly. However, some people hold the notion that punishing kids is a proactive method of making them more disciplined. I agree with the former point of view.
To begin with, children are very sensitive and need to be handled with love and care. They need love

Investing on art such as paintings, sculptures and literature is important to the nation. This will provide more education to the people about the rich history and culture of the nation. These days, children have become so much influenced by the western culture; they do not know anything about their values and culture. Through investing in art and culture, we can teach our kids about the rich history and culture of our nation.
It is rightly said that excess of everything is bad. If government keeps investing on art and culture without giving importance to other useful areas, such as hospitals, schools and construction of roads, it will create imbalance, which will ultimately affect the life of the individuals. Hence, government should know how much they need to spend and where so that other important and essential things do not go neglected.
I agree with the fact that government is and should invest on art but at the same time without neglecting other essential things. There should be a fine balance between the various things where they are investing without overdoing some and under doing

    Art Funding Benefits

Art can be traced all the way back to the ice age. The government uses roughly 146.2 million dollars per year to offer support and fund for art projects, and state governments have always repeatedly maintained a commitment to the arts (Gummow). The art funding is a good use of a taxpayer’s money, because it supports health and wellness, it creates more jobs, and it is a part of education. The arts are so important, so that is why I think that the money that goes into the arts is money well spent ("Why Should the Government Support the Arts?").…

Art can teach students to express themselves and it can even get children interested in history. Just like any other subject in school, art has a history. However, the history of art is so much broader than other historical school subjects. Art reaches all the way back to ancient petroglyphs (cave paintings) and extends from there into dozens of different cultures including the Sumerians, the Egyptians, the Greeks, and the Romans. The history of the arts is actually quite fascinating because of their ability to reach a broad spectrum of cultures and continue, even to this day, to go through drastic changes, yet still maintain the same general…

    Spending Money on Art

    • 486 Words

It can be wrong for governments to spend large sums of money on art. Too often, governments spend unwisely. They spend money on art not because a picture is good or a museum is needed, but for political reasons. Cities end up with huge statues or empty expensive buildings that are used only by a few people or the elite. Another point is that the artworks are often chosen to represent social or political rather than artistic ideas. The city gets yet another statue of the leader or an ugly monument to national aspirations. A third point is that governments often respond to fashions, and tastes in art can change very rapidly. Without careful advice an expensive collection of worthless paintings or tasteless productions can be the result.…

When it comes to raising children there are two different ways to deal with problems. You can punish your child when they do something wrong, and this can involve verbal or physical punishment. Discipline is something that parents can instill in their children by letting them know they are disappointed or removing themselves away from the child. Discipline often has a more lasting effect on a child because they know if they do something wrong that their parents will be disappointed, which is much harder than physical pain to deal with. We must remember that hurt feelings can be much more long lasting than physical pain.…

A majority of the older generation considers harsh punishment the most ideal means of discipline and that simple measures, along the lines of “timeouts” for instance, promote leniency by the parent. The overall purpose of disciplining kids stands to teach personal control over anger or wrongdoings, but the implementation of abuse instills fear between the adolescent and parent. Physical reprimand entertains the idea that opposed to discussing matters to solve an issue, exploding in anger and hurting others in the process appears acceptable.…

As results, art work generally aids in improving the overall happiness level. For example, if someone is depressed, being able to see a lovely painting or drawing will instantly give them a better feeling, and sometimes a sense of hope. But people usually either have no enough money or lack of art awareness, so the government should be able to support artists to make the art more accessible to ordinary people, by building art in the city or offering free art exhibition for citizens.…

    The Necessity of Art

Art is necessary in order that man should be able to recognize and change the world. But art is also necessary by virtue of the magic inherent in it. Art in capitalist society may appear as a discrete area of leisure or luxury, but this is wholly exceptional for human society. Art was humanity’s attempt to control the world. Art and magic were the same thing: ‘The newly acquired power to grasp and control objects, to prompt social activity and bring about events by means of signs, images, and words, led him to expect the magical power of language to be infinite. These concerns raise a few questions to Art in the society. Firstly, how much restriction should the government restrict the type of art forms that could have an adverse effect on the society? Or rather what limitations on censorship and funding should be made for the sake of artist value, or more broadly freedom of expression? Secondly, should it be the responsibility for the artist to take into consideration the effect on the viewer when creating art pieces that may seem controversial to others?…
