Importance of Staff Relations in an Organization

Introduction

The employees in our property company are our most valuable asset. They keep the company running, help generate revenue, keep our customers satisfied. They are not only the intellectual property of the company, and also hold the keys to our future success.
On behalf of our Human Resource Management, we believe that good staff relation is an important function in our company, because it is able to reduce the turnover rate and increase staff’s morale. The principles of keeping someone happy in their job are simple. The following suggestions may help to make our employees happier in their jobs and keep them on longer.

A) Improve communication with the staff

To maintain good staff relations, we have to improve communication between staff. We can arrange meetings schedules, reports and activity logs. It also makes it possible to track areas for improvement and help management, operation or company development as well.
Give respect to the staff
Show respect to the staff is also important for improving communication. This attitude can be presented in many different ways. It is displayed through how you talk, manner of speaking and how to treat the staff, also how you pay them and how you invest in them as well. For example, the supervisors should be patient to the subordinates even they do the wrong thing, and try to understand the reasons and give encouragement or support to them, instead of just scolding. On thinking back, employee’s loyalty is wavered because their bosses who do not take time to meet them or get to know their working conditions and difficulties, they think the bosses do not respect them. As a result, the neglect causes lack of communications between supervisors and subordinates.

Holding more activity
We suggest our company can hold more activities to make more communication chance between staff from different levels. For example, day camp or leisure gathering are
