Important Things in Life
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People pay too much attention to the less important things in life and fail to see the larger issues. Use specific reasons and details to explain your opinion. I believe that people pay too much attention to the less important things in life and fail to see the larger issues. That is because there is too much failure in human life giving too much time for unnneccassery issues. First of all the world has changed in a way that normally human being does not want to be. In our cosmapolitan world , people ended up in a bad stutation just because they ignored the main issues they should normally not .for example when people start thinking that money is the most important means in someone’s life, they start giving their all life for it . Thus , they happen to ignore their family life and gave less time for their children, which ended up in divorce and unhappiness. Another reason is that people start spending less time for fun. As human being we all get tired after too long working hours. Waking up in earlier time for work and coming home in a late time gave us no upportunity to enjoy life . Thus , we start forget about living the moment and make everything countable . This costs people sick as mental ly and psychologically. As a final reason, people could not find enough time for activites to keep their healthy conditions well. Being tired after work stopped people from going to gyms . Because of the fact that , they gave lots of effort to earn money , there is no left enery for them to run or cycle. Other then spending time in the leisure centers, they preffered to relax and watch tv at home.
In conclusion , considering the resaons that mentioned above humanity start being unhealthy and anti social. There will be unfortunattley always failure as long as people keep paying attention small

The routine and everyday problems and needs make people go around without noticing what they are surrounded by, simply seeing it as obstacles on the way to their destinations or just a means to get there. While analyzing how people see their surroundings de Botton on his essay states that, " A bus, which we might at first have viewed as aesthetically or mechanically or as a springboard to thoughts about communities within cities, becomes simply a box to move us as rapidly as possible across an area which might as well not exist, so unconnected is it to our primary goal, outside of which all is darkness, all is invisible" (63). There are a lot of things to be noticed around a city or just a street, but people often just focus on their objective and forget about anything that will not be part of that goal so they just do not see anything else. Things like a bus or a train are seen as nothing else than a tool to reach the a certain destination when it could represent a lot more if seen for another point of view like for example the opportunity of meeting the members of the neighborhood. The “primary goal” or what people are trying to accomplish makes them blind of simple things like their community or just how the bus or the street looks like. De Botton gives another example of how people ignore what is around them when he says “The power of my…

My last fault is caring too much; Benjamin Franklin’s virtue for this was tranquility, or not sweating the small effects. This virtue is the hardest, for me, because I do care too much. Only a scare amount of people are destined to be the President of the United States, to be astronauts, to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, or to find a cure for a terminal disease. All of us are capable of significant accomplishments and achievements throughout each of our lives. As Mother Teresa or St. Teresa of Calcutta states this quote, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love,” it signifies extreme importance through society in which people accomplish things rather large or small; love is always present during the accomplishments not matter the size of the achievement. Not everyone is exposed, or afforded, the opportunity to do great things; whether fame, money, or motivation tend to get in the…
