Example: Your generation of humans was supposed to be better!” One of the robots yelled back. “But you’re not! You’re just as murderous as your ancestors!” (Haddix 295)

Explanation: This is a Contrast Contradiction because these robots were made and programmed to protect the human race and to provide a stepping-stone for the Humans. Modern day humans had been killed by killer robots and people donated their embryos to freeze and program robots to care of these until Killer Robots were gone and then Bring the Human Race back to life after they had instigated the Robots to go rogue and instead, were trained to be nicer.

Contrast Contradiction

Your generation of humans was supposed to be better!” One of the robots yelled back. “But you’re not! You’re just as murderous as your ancestors!” (Haddix 295)

This is a Contrast Contradiction because these robots were made and programmed to protect the human race and to provide a stepping-stone for the Humans. Modern day humans had been killed by killer robots and people donated their embryos to freeze and program robots to care of these until Killer Robots were gone and then Bring the Human Race back to life after they had instigated the Robots to go rogue and instead, were trained to be nicer.

The robots are acting like this because the killer robots linked to the Robot Network and corrupted the innocent brains into thinking humans were really bad. They had one piece of evidence, the papers found deep in a cave by Nick and Eryn that had instructions to kill all of the robots once the humans got mature enough because the robots could prove as a threat to the human race in the future. Whereas the robots had wanted to co-exist and live

He secretly fixed himself up with parts that his dad bought just before they got caught. Those parts gave him superhuman powers and he was able to burst the police car’s door open. His dad was unconscious and Jackson had to carry his dad and run very fast. He ran at a very high speed and when he finally stopped to get all of his dad’s data into his brain so he could have the knowledge of him and his dad so they could get back safely to the Nature Preserve where his family was hiding from robot authorities, he was 3 hours ahead of the cops. They were at the preserve because his dad and mom had made him and his sister illegally because all robot kids under 12 had to be killed to make way for humans and were simply placeholders. Every year, the next generation had to be killed. Jackson and his sister Ava were designed to grow like humans and so when it became too dangerous for them to go to public schools, they were homeschooled to keep them safe and alive. After Jackson got the data, he ran back to the preserve to be surprised furthermore. I would want those powers because I would help the world in any possible way. The powers are extremely powerful and they would be amazing to

In addition, a famous fiction movie called “EX Machina” tells a terrifying story that a scientist is killed by a human-like robot produced by himself, while his original intention to design such a machine is just simply assisting him with housework. When the robots have more mature artificial intelligent which is exactly what people desire, it is rational to assume that they can acquire the incentive to offend, even hurt their masters just like what people do to each other. Although it is a science-fiction movie, the thoughts behind its story definitely deserve the public careful concern. The dangerous and limitation of robots are still available so that we should use them as prudently as…

In “Alone Together: The Robotic Movement,” Sherry Turkle explains some of the negative effects that robots are having on our lives. She also explains how they can have a negative effect on our daily lives without us even noticing. I am someone who knows a great deal about technology, however I had no idea that close human-robot interaction was happening at such an inappropriate level. There are many different examples Turkle uses in the article, however, I will only talk about two. I agree with Turkle not only that there are ethical problems with human-robot interaction but also that a lot of other forms of technology might be doing more harm than good.…

To begin with, in The Second Renaissance I, The robots tried to look like humans, one interpreting a woman was torn apart by the humans brutally. Robots were created to do “man’s bidding”, to do what humans couldn’t do. B1-66ER defending himself from being destroyed, killed his master, and so all of the robots were destroyed. We then witness the death of the humans, and the power and control gain by the robots, which allowed them to create: “a new nation, new laws, and a new society”. For Example, when most of Latin America got its independence from Europe, they gain power, which allowed them to create: new laws, a new nation, and also a new society, which was of benefit to everyone. The Europeans had no control over the Latin American nations, because power was gained and control was taken away. Robots tried to make peace with humans, “01’s ambassadors were sent to appear at an emergency session of the UN, presenting a plan for a stable and civil relationship with mankind. The proposal was denied” the humans chose not to cooperate with the robots, digging their own graves. Around 1930, segregation separated races from each other, the same thing happened with the humans and the robots, when the people didn't wanted to make peace with the…

Hot electrical wires under a cold, metal shell versus blood- flowing veins beneath a warm, furry skin. Robotic pets are replacing true, loving emotions with computer programmed actions. Robots make human lives easier, like what could happen in a science fiction movie. Just following three simple steps on the instruction manual could change lives dramatically. For example, humans are gradually moving towards social isolation, lack of responsibility, and loneliness. Robotic machines have many negative outcomes. Therefore, they should not get to replace the relationship between humans and their pets.…

The modern technologies like robot and cellphones do bring people great convenience. As Sherry Turkle claims, modern technologies like cellphones and robots might cause ethic issues. Sherry Turkle argues, “Some people are looking for robots to clean rugs and help with the laundry. Others hope for a mechanical bride.”(264) Actually, the benefits of robots can greatly overwhelm its negative effects. First and foremost, the robots can do much easy and physical…

This is evident in an opening scene with the asthmatic woman, where Spooner accidently targets a runaway robot assuming it was stealing a purse, when in fact it was bringing the woman her inhaler. This simple mistake illustrates the lack of trust within the human race, and their high dependence on technology, which can become dangerous when it fails. However the robots that are slaves to humans soon are presented with a power reversal, in that the powerful rich CEO and the controlling humans compared to the average robot that has nothing soon overturn. Power is given to the high class, and this is shown through the first scene of a robot where Spooner pushes the robot out of the way with a “get the hell out of my face canner” and the robot replies decently with “have a nice day sir”. This is similar to both Brave New World and 2001, in that power is given to the dominating race. In 2001, even though they state they see HAL as a friend and equal, similar to when Sonny malfunctions in I Robot, they also choose to disable him. However this abuse of the low class can only be taken so…

Artificial Intelligence is a film that was released in 2001 that gives a glimpse of a future of humanoid robots. The main character, David, is a prototype of humanistic robotic technology called mecha. He is a robot that closely resembles a human, especially due to his ability to produce emotional love. He is taken in by a family, but later removed from the family for cutting his mother’s hair because they thought he was too dangerous and tried to kill her, even though he wasn’t acting out of cruel intentions, but out of his desire for his mother’s love. Here was the humanoid robot David, a robot created to love, not destroy, yet he still ended up destroying. He caused destruction with the intention of seeking love, of being a human; it wasn’t a program or code that caused his one destructive act. David and the movie Artificial Intelligence show us that although humanoid robots may seem to be made with the best intentions and programmed to do the right thing, this very thing could cause…

While there are things we agree and disagree on with each other, it is safe to say that we need nature to survive. We need trees to provide us oxygen, we need reservoirs and oceans to provide us water and food, and we need the sun to give us vitamin D. Robots, on the other hand, wouldn’t care if trees were starting to disappear or if the ocean was starting to try out. They don’t need oxygen and they don’t need water to survive. They’ve been programmed a certain way and know what their function us. Moreover, as we create better AIs, those AIs would be smart enough to create even better ones and can outsmart us and even be one step ahead of us…
