In this essay I will be on the topic of is abortion ever morally permissible. My understanding of abortion is that it’s a premature expulsion of a human fetus. Even if it’s a miscarriage, or artificially induced as in a surgical or chemical abortion. The argument of this essay is if abortion is permissible or not in the catholic religion. Then I will offend my position on what I think. In my opinion I think that it is not morally permissible.
The Catholic Church has always taught that abortion is murder of a child and is not permissible. . However, some confusion exists because the penalties for the murder of an unborn child have been changed several times in the history of the Church.
