The writer Casy Schwartz, in her article “In Thrall to Adderall” talks about her story in Adderall addiction since she was in the first year in the university until her job. Adderall is a medicine prescribed for patients who suffer from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) which is commonly seen in children more than in adult. Schwartz’s story began in the university when she had too much homework in school. Her friend gave her two pills of Adderall to help her to stay focus for long time to do her homework. The story did not stop here but Schwartz started to take more and more of these pills with each long homework.
