Research Title: Inadequate Human and Infrastructural Resources - Major Hurdles in Complete Implementation of Right to Education.
Introduction: Primary education to all is a basic requirement to bring about universalization of education in the low literacy countries and thus RIGHT TO EDUCATION which came into existence in India on the 1st April, 2010 is significant. Its right implementation has the potential to change the entire educational phenomena in India. Through this research, the researchers want to focus on some key aspects in the implementation of RIGHT TO EDUCATION. While doing so, there will be an attempt made to correlate the two key aspects i.e. Inadequate Human and Infrastructural Resources and try to find out if they play a major role in poor implementation of RIGHT TO EDUCATION. The universe for this project shall be the schools in Mumbai suburbs on the central line between Sion to Mulund
Hypothesis: 1. Poor and less developed infrastructure is a major reason for the glitches in Right to Education.
2. Inefficient, untrained human resources contribute to the failure in the implementation of Right to Education
Aim:
To study whether inefficient, untrained human resources and poor and less developed infrastructure are major responsible factors for the glitches in RIGHT TO EDUCATION.
Objectives: * To examine the availability of quality infrastructure in schools as per the prescribed norms of RIGHT TO EDUCATION act. * To examine what kind of facilities are available in schools for physically disabled, deaf, blind and students with low IQ or slow learners to ensure inclusive learning. * To examine the compliance of schools with respect to Students-Teacher ratio norm in RIGHT TO EDUCATION. * To understand the standard of Human Resource and support staff
