India of My Dreams
INDIA OF MY DREAMS

Everyone in this world dreams. One always makes a plan about his future. So, I also have an India of my dreams.

Our country India has completed 63 years of her independence. In every walk of life, we find Indians on the top. For example, earlier in sports we found Indians winning only in cricket, but now we have been captivating other sports like Chess, Boxing, and Badminton etc. But, have we achieved the milestone which was kept by our freedom fighters to be the perfect nation?

The reality is that more than 60% people of India are not developing with India. People are unemployed, poor and dying with hunger. And, such conditions are increasing corruption, terrorism and giving the birth to dirty politics.

Agriculture would be given special attention because agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. Another Green Revolution would be brought about by launching intensive agricultural programs and farmers would be asked to use better seeds fertilizers as well as modern tools and implements.

Another thing, which I would like to see in India of my dreams, would be the abridgement of the gap between the rich and the poor. National income would be distributed rationally among the

Change is the essence of life. Nothing in this universe is static. everything has to move on to sustain its existence. The same is true for a nation. A nation or a country is doomed unless there is a constant change taking place which moulds the lives of the countrymen and takes the country forward. This process of change has to be catalysed by the powers that govern the nation. In our country, successive democratically elected governments have put the country on the path of progress since independence. Today as a nation we can boast that we are in a position which probably in the furthest of imagination nobody could even dream of when we just attained independence in 1947.As our president Dr. Abdul Kalam has mentioned that by 2020 he dreams of an India which will be recognized as one of the most powerful nations of the world.…

Endowed with massive human resource talent as well as enormous natural resources, India could have achieved much more than what it has achieved so far. But unfortunately, India is a country of contradictions. India got nuclear bombs, warships, huge army, vast IT talent and skilled workforce, but India is also place for millions and millions of people who have no access to pure drinking water, proper health care, reasonable shelter and social security. India continues where equality of opportunity on the basis of merit is a far cry. In terms of human development index India still has to do a lot of catching up. India with a billion + population is not even a permanent member of the Security Council which speaks of the failure of the system of governance.…
