Indiana Beach Research Paper
OH MY GOSH!! You are never gonna believe what my friend and I did this summer. We went to Indiana Beach! Have you ever been to Indiana Beach? If you haven’t been let me tell yeah you are missing out on all the fun. As soon as you walk in the front gate it all you hear is screams of fun and laughter. Let inform you a little bit about our trip. When we arrived we received our wrist and everything else. The first ride we went on was the dragon and my stomach dropped on that one but I toughed it out. The second ride we went on was my favorite it was called “The Hurricane”. The Hurricane is a big wooden roller coaster that drops and bumps and swings you all over the cart. It may sound rough but it is super exciting in my opinion. WE went on tons of rides after that but we did some things that are more important. After 2-3 hours of riding a bunch of roller coasters you get pretty hungry. So Taylor and I decided we were gonna get some pizza. THAT PIZZA WAS DELICIOUS!! We also retrieved some blue freezers. We looked like we ate a smurf after we were done slurping those down. After that we were somehow still hungry so we asked my mom to buy us dipping dots. We said please so of course she said yes. We got the cookies and cream flavored ones and yum they were …show more content…
It was definitely worth it, but it was already 9:30 PM and there was a firework show at 10:00 PM. So my mom told us it was time to go find a seat for the fireworks. We had the best seats. We sat right along the front of the lake right in front of where they were lighting them off. After 30 minutes passed they finally started cracking. The were amazing. The clock struck 11:00 and everyone started heading to the gate. By that time came around we were exhausted! When we got the car we buckled our seat belts and laid our heads down and slowly gazed into a deep

Up early, the surface of the water was like glass, I unloaded the fly rod and headed back to the water with the dogs. Knowing that the prolific Utah Chub was a major food source in the reservoir, I tied a bunch of white and gold streamers in the weeks leading up to departure. I tied one on and made a couple casts, still targeting stumps and their roots. Just as the fly neared shore, a cutthroat shot out from under the stump and grabbed my fly. Unfortunately, it was a short lived flight as the fish shook its head and gained its freedom.…

But I left the window open so I got a finger in my hair. Than I have to find a sink hole like in the Simpsons to go back to my normal life. On day four we went to see Tulum historical site. It was exactly 98.1766 miles from our hotel. It was very interesting and informational as well as educational Mr. Werner would've been proud. We than went to Cancun adventure at Selvatica to take in some extreme Ziplining, bungee swing, and Centoe swim. It was an awesome adrenaline rush. I highly recommend the company we used because, they showed us an extraordinary time and only cost us $397.98. The company's name is Selvatica and they specialize in Ziplining. On day five we were bushed but we felt we could take in some shopping, so we went to the La Isla shopping center to buy some souvenirs. I spent $100 and so did Owen and we got so much cool stuff with the money. We also ate at a roadside stand, I never knew you could buy a whole cooked fish at a roadside stand but I guess it is a local delicacy. It only cost us $6 each. That night we were sad to leave. But, we will never forget our Mexico beach vacation and we can't wait to go back. For the whole entire trip it only cost us a total of…

Jersey Shore, on MTV, is a wonderful model of reality television gone wrong. It is definitely one of the worst shows on TV, but has become one of the most popular. The cast of Jersey Shore reinforces negative stereotypes of Italian-Americans, and shows relationships and sex in an extremely negative light. Racial slurs are a part of everyday vocabulary, relationships are all about fighting and infidelity, and sexual activity is no big deal. The cast’s interactions with others show men and women negatively also. These images can have a negative effect on many of the shows young viewers. Although many people recognize the show’s lack of substance, they can’t seem to stop watching it, which only gives the impression that all of these things are acceptable. This show is definitely more than just a bad show, it negatively portrays groups of people, and downplays important issues.…

Well at the end of the day it was just a little something to laugh about, so it is ok to take risks every once in awhile. Oh and don't forget to be careful with…

At thirteen years old, I was the kid that no one wanted to drag to an amusement park with because I strictly stuck to the merry go round and swings. My parents were always eagerly trying to persuade me to at least try a roller coaster but I refused. Deep inside I wanted to be fearless and be able to jump on the attraction like there was no problem, but I was too nervous. All of my friends, including my family were adrenaline junkies, always wanting to get on the roughest and worst rides of them all. This naturally caused me to become even more frustrated when attending Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, which was very often. It wasn’t till one day when visiting the park that I decided I was not just going to take a risk, but I was determined to overcome my first roller coaster.…
