Informative Essay: Are Aliens Real?

No one knows for sure, but I have faith that these extraterrestrial beings are not just a myth. Over the years, too much unexplainable, ancient and scientific evidence has been uncovered for nothing else to be out there. There is no doubt in my mind that aliens are real.

Ezekiel's Wheel is one of the most interesting ancient UFO accounts in the bible. It dates back to 593 BC and can be found in Ezekiel 1:16 (“UFOs in the Bible”, online). In the story of Ezekiel’s Wheel, Ezekiel says to have seen a bronze object come out of the sky and deposit four living creatures. He says the creatures were in the form of men with four wings and four faces. They had straight legs, calf’s hooves as feet, and were a sparkling bronze (Holy Bible, 861). As the story goes, the creatures had a wheel along side them, and that is where the name of the story came from. “...Bible historians suggest Ezekiel was speaking symbolically about the terrifying enemies facing Israel. This could be more historic proof of alien visitation and proof that pre-historic aircraft existed” (“Ezekiel’s Wheels”,

Alien in one definition is: “Too different from something to be acceptable or suitable,” and Illegal in one definition is “Not allowed by the law.” (Mirriam-Webster Dictionary) The words ‘Alien’ and ‘Illegal’ have inherent negative connotations. A person does not need to know the intimate or factual circumstances associated with those words to understand their symbolism. When those words are used to label the social group of undocumented Latino day laborers the inherent reaction is to see them in a negative way. The individuals become a stigmatized group. The people against undocumented immigrants in Farmingville saw the Latinos through the lens of the stigmatized group “illegal aliens.” They thus became seen as invaders, unwanted and dangerous. The people of Farmingville did not understand the Latino day laborers and were unable to properly interact with them.…

A National Geographic survey states that 77% of the population believe that aliens exist and could have visited the Earth. Over “80 million Americans, or 36% of the population, believe UFOs are real” (Live Science Staff). 68 years ago the nation was captivated by supposed reports that a UFO crashed on a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico. This subject has always been debated between the military and the public for years. In 1997 “the military released a 231 page report [hoping that all the rumors would stop]” (Peyser 1). Yet, the public still doubt the truth of the military report about the Roswell incident because there were several different stories that happened. I believe that a UFO could have landed, but that will never know the truth given…

Imagine, one afternoon you are in your backyard enjoying the sun when suddenly you look up at the sky and there is a huge disk-like shaped object floating above your whole town. For centuries, scientists, ecologists, politicians, and common people around the world have discussed the subject of the unidentified flying objects (UFO). It seems paradoxical, but the main question of their discussion concerns existence or non-existence of the UFO itself. The most popular and appealing notion about the UFO is the extraterrestrial hypothesis. The hypothesis implies that there are intelligent beings from other planets visiting Earth, aliens. Although some people…
