Now that it’s time to vote who are you voting for? Is it Hillary Clinton? No? Well, Hillary Clinton has political experience. She has a plan on how to take away the national debt, she wants to stop ISIS, and she understands the issues.
Hillary Clinton has experience in politics, after all, she was the senator of New York from 2001-2009. During early 2007, Hillary Clinton announced her plan to run for president of the U.S. and was a leading democratic candidate, but Obama won the election and became president. She was however, appointed the 67th secretary of state by president Barack Obama in 2009, and was sworn in as a part of his cabinet. She resigned in 2013 so that she could run for president. What about this, Clinton plans to try to take away the national debt. She wants to close all unfair tax loopholes and find secret, unaccountable money in politics. She also would like to make it so that living would be easier, and not just for the rich and wealthy. Clinton plans to give a paid family leave.
Hillary Clinton also wants to stop the ISIS recruitment in the United States. She plans to try to find a way to stop ISIS and other terrorists. Clinton said after the Paris attack, which ISIS has taken credit for, “Every society faces a choice between fear and resolve. This is no time to be scoring political points. We must use every pillar of American power, including our values, to fight terror.” She says she wants to combine anti-ISIS airstrikes and ground forces to take back territory from ISIS.
Hillary Clinton wants to give everyone equal rights. She says that she will fight for every American’s right to vote, and defend immigrants’ rights. Hillary says that she will also protect LGBT rights and she says that, “Gay rights are human rights.” Clinton says that America is the only country that does not guarantee a paid leave to new mothers, and she plans to change that. At the Lincoln Center Clinton talked about important issues for women like health care, unequal pay, and sexual assault. She says that woman, people of color, people of the LGBT community, immigrants, and everyone else, all deserve equal rights and
respect.
