There is a lot of debate about asking for money, and pushback on how much money someone should give. Is it enough to cover their meal? (it used to be but it does not seem to be the case nowadays). While an online registry is great some of your older guests might prefer to go into a store and look at then purchase items so make sure they are able to do that with items on your registry. - Variety remember!

Try not to save the registry to the last minute since you have a higher chance of then becoming trigger happy with items just to fill your list up.
Don’t put the registry on the invitation - instead add an insert with that information so it is easy to read and they can also then take it with them. Make sure it has the names listed on the registry so guests can easily search your list and find the correct
