Route Sixty-six represents America in many ways. It was one of the most used back roads in America. From being used to see new things, and for being a place you can enjoy your journey instead of trying to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible. When you drive on Route Sixty-six, you can actually
enjoy the trip, but when your on the interstate that is a totally different story. You get frantic very easily. Route Sixty-six is considered a blue highway because it connects you to small towns and cities, but at the same time it bypasses the interstate. On the interstate you barely get to see nature, but everywhere you glimpse you see signs of hazard. Nowadays, everywhere you look on the interstate, you see signs of danger. From broken glass to truck tires, you see every little piece of danger that has hit the interstate. Meanwhile on Route Sixty-six you see a few tires or broken glass, but hardly ever any cars going over the speed limit. The main reason you see broken glass on Route Sixty-six is because of people littering. When you are on the interstate, the broken glass is caused from cars flipping over or crashing because they were going to fast. Also on the interstate, the roads are flat and do not have interesting things until you get up the exit ramp. On Route Sixty-six you get to see amazing sights every few miles. In conclusion, Route Sixty-six is one of the most famous and most used highways in American history.
