Informative Essay: The Experienced Hillary Clinton For President
Experienced Hillary Clinton is unmistakably the supreme candidate for president because she has formulated ideas to enhance the economy in a way that helps everyone. First off, Hillary Clinton has shown her political understanding and capability of being president over the years she has served as the First Lady and then Senator. Her mistakes and accomplishments have been documented throughout the years, giving us a preview of what we are to expect if she were to take on the role of the president of our country. This is all explained in, “Hillary Clinton for president, The Boston Globe Editorial Board, October 08, 2016 (Abridged)” It states, “After 30 years in the national spotlight, voters know first-hand all of her foibles and flaws, all …show more content…
She has produced original ideas that not only address problems like gun control, which has been argued about since the 2nd amendment, but has formulated a possible solution that meets many expectations. For example, Hillary Clinton's opinion on gun control in, “Skimm The Vote Issue Guide: Gun Control,” states her opinion by saying, “... time to take on NRA to keep guns away from domestic abusers and violent criminals. That means universal background checks and closing loopholes that let the wrong people carry a gun”. Clearly, Hillary Clinton has a solution that keeps the guns, but takes more critical measures in the security system in order to prevent them from ending up in the wrong hands, which ultimately averts other problems and avoids putting innocent civilians in harm's way. Whereas Donald Trump chooses to ignore a clear problem, stating in, “Skimm The Vote Issue Guide: Gun Control” that, “... We don’t have a gun problem. We have a mental illness problem.” Evidently he believes that there truly isn’t a problem and while he does address the issue, he manipulates the actual problem, twisting its meaning and blaming the people with mental illnesses instead of the inanimate object that give them the ability to kill. Although he’s stating that people should be given guns as a source of defense and …show more content…
This is explained in “Donald Trump Biography”, in which Donald Trump states what he intends to do if he were to claim presidency, his objectives are to, “Build a wall along the US- Mexico border to stop undocumented immigration. Temporarily ban immigration from countries with a history of terrorism into the United States”. We have to understand that instead of ceasing the problem his solutions could cause it to mutate and develop into something worse. We as a society are already split by prejudice and racism weather we chose to believe it or not. By building a physical barrier to separate us from humanity, Donald Trump is visually showing a hatred and unwillingness towards a specific group of people and with it broadcasting all the prejudice and discrimination that's been buried away, bringing it to the surface of our society for the world to see our cruel, inhuman nature. The people being targeted will fight back and develop a mutual hate, causing more violent acts and possibly growing the terrorism problem that he was trying to stop. Donald Trump has shown a consistency of ignoring the reason behind these problems and with his solutions instead of solving the problem he’s blocking them out with laws and walls instead of acknowledging the cause or

On October 26, 2006, U.S. President George W. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006 to help secure the US. Mexican border to decrease drug trafficking and security threats. The act mandated the construction of almost 700 miles of barrier fences along the Mexican border. The act also appropriated the expansion of checkpoints, vehicle barriers, and technological systems designed to monitor the expanse of the boundary but per the department of homeland security, this promise had not been kept, just 5 percent of the double-layer fencing is complete, only 36.3 miles. Under those circumstances, the boldest promises made by the president-elect, Donald Trump, as well as one of his first promises, was building a wall along the US-Mexican border.…

Through the first presidential debate, Hillary Clinton has proved that she is the best choice for President. First, she proved that she is more empathetic to the common American. She herself came from a middle-class family. During the debate, she preached about her hardworking father, who worked in drapery. Trump came from a wealthy family, so he cannot relate to average Americans as well as Clinton can. She then expressed her desire for tax cuts for the middle class, and tax increases for the rich. She also mentioned how she intends to create 10 million jobs by investing in industries such as “clean energy”. She proved that she will do her best to make everyday life better for them. Next, she behaved more professionally then her opponent,…

Henry Payne's cartoon "For Illegal Immigrants by Illegal Immigrants" shows us the Irony of Donald Trump wanting to build a Wall/ Fence, to keep illegal immigrants out of the united states. Trump wants illegal immigrants to build the very wall that will keep the out of a country that offers liberty and many opportunities for all kinds of people. Payne’s cartoon has bias against the fact that Donald Trump Wants to build a wall to keep immigrants out of the United States. In 2008 she tried to become a potential candidate for the president of the United States and she lost to former senator Barack Obama because as former senator Obama pointed out to Mrs.Clinton during one of their debates that she would be the type of opponent that Republicans would love to run against due to past political choices and her views on certain subjects. The people on the Liberal or Progressive side of the political spectrum are most outraged over the Muslim and refugee ban, the building of the wall between Mexico and the USA, and the Key Stone and Dakota Access Pipeline revival. The Muslim and refugee ban, as well as the Wall, are enacted on the discriminatory belief that all Muslims are terrorists and that all Mexicans are rapists or thieves. The ban of Muslims and refugees is only directed at the Middle Eastern countries that Trump has no business ties to, which is a little odd. Why not ban all Muslims? On the other hand, the wall is estimated to cost between 12 and 15 billion dollars. This wall is pointless. Why not direct this large sum of money to actually helping the American people? Trump could improve education, healthcare, and many other things. Trump has and will waste billions of dollars just to be racist and to benefit his business…

In fact, he has entered bankruptcy four times on different occasions so how will this man be able to manage the country's economy? He thinks he is correct and has no concerns if people disagree with him. Finally, Donald Trump is very racist. “ Laziness is a trait in blacks” was what Trump said and as you can see, this is clearly not true as people excluding blacks are also lazy. In short, Donald Trump is not fit for being president as he clearly cannot manage the country's economy since he couldn't manage his budget 4 times and never had a job in the government so he doesn't know how it works as you cannot simply get something done in a blink of an eye.…

She is the best choice out of the four candidates, with the most experience working for American politics. Furthermore, the other nominees’ ideas for America and beliefs do not stand up for what I believe in personally. Hillary Clinton is someone who I look up to and would want to vote for, as she shares my views on issues such as immigration, LGBT rights, and debt-free college.…

Citizens and other people against this could possibly think that Trump is targeting certain countries related to terrorist groups and local cultures that are “most likely to do something bad”. He most likely feels that this is the best move for the U.S and that something in the areas with the proposed ban is worth doing so. Typically, a president wouldn’t spend time and money to keep people out of this wonderful country. The U.S border with Mexico spans almost 2,000 miles from the states of California to Texas, and illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and other security breaches along the border have been issues of growing concern for decades. After September 11, 2001 the call to secure American borders increased and the idea of expanding physical layers of security along the Mexican border began to gain serious importance in the minds of lawmakers. Signed into law by Ex-President George W. Bush, the Secure Fence Act in 2006 mandated the construction of almost 700 miles of barrier fence along the Mexican border; proponents of the physical fence believe that the barrier will act as a strategic impediment for those who wish to cross the border from Mexico into the United States illegally. While the wall proposed is 700 miles long, the US-Mexico border is roughly 2,000 miles long. This means illegal immigrants will simple try to cross over the two-thirds of the border that is not covered by the fence. A fence along the US-Mexico border should not be built as it will not stop illegal immigrants from entering the United States.…
