One of the things that I realized in the tracker is the activity your body endures or should endure throughout the day. Doing so will help burn certain calories if you had an intake that was over the target as well as just keep the body in shape. This part builds the energy to its optimum status. We can look at simple things as waking up earlier and sleeping earlier as being ways to fit this in our schedule or to help with the energy factor. Believe it or not our sleep and exercise patterns will help with the nutrition portion as well. Working out more whether going to the gym or just home exercise will keep the body moving to a pace where the body can work at its maximum potential.…

Over the course of this week I have learned many things about my eating habits. I found that when I am very busy I tend to eat less and healthier. When I am just sitting around I tend to eat more than necessary and the foods are not as good for me. Using this tracker has really helped me to see what I am consuming, as far as carbohydrates, fats, sugars, proteins, sodium, and total calories. I have also been able to tell that the more active I am the more calories that I burn in a day. Before I started using the tracker I never gave much thought to how many calories I was burning just walking around, cleaning, cooking, and working. My eating habits are not the greatest. This week I went to the beach for a couple of days and my eating habits while we were driving to and from Delaware was horrible. I ate fast food and consumed way to much sodium and sugars. When we were cooking for ourselves and walking around all day my numbers were much better. I did notice using this tracker though that I need to eat more vegetables and proteins, and cut back on my sugars. I have a hard time staying under my daily sugar allotment. Overall, I really do need to improve my eating habits.…

    Exercise Analysis

With doing the tracker, eating a low calorie diet, and exercising the way I was doing I found that I can lose up to 1,200 calories a day for a 3 day period which is a total of 3,900 calories as long as my calorie intake is 500 or lower. Now, what I have found out about my activity level over the past 3 days is that I do need to not try and do so much in one day period because your body builds a tolerance to doing the same things every day. So what I decided to do was to keep up my morning stretches because this is not just getting your body ready for some exercising but it also helps to keep the body from pulling or straining a muscle while doing your daily routine. I did decide to walk and jog my 4 miles on different days than when I do my gazelle because I do walk a lot during the day and both of these is are different types of cardio.…

Priced at $20 per share, Fitbit sold a whopping 36.6 million shares the day of its initial public offering. This amounted to $732 million in profit for the company. To add to the excitement, it was ranked one of the top U.S. IPOs sold for the year 2015. Undoubtedly, this is due to the fact that Fitbit was able to seize 68% of the market for wearable devices (Driebusch, 2015). The following day after Fitbit’s IPO debut, it was recorded that the company had increased shares by 20% (Imbert, 2015). This was expected due to the astonishing support they received on the initial day of trading. With regards to the first quarter of 2015, Fitbit’s profits continued to spike (Mullaney, 2015). At the time, it seemed as if Fitbit was on its way to set all…

Our world is constantly changing because of new ideas, creations, and advancement in science. We learn something new every day, or at least majority of people do. If you really think about it, we have come a long from first seeing our own image from a reflection of the water to understanding why we look the way we do from genetics. Like one old coach told me, “you might fall behind, but the world keeps moving.” Exercise is something that has been talked about way before our time, but I will be writing about how exercise physiology has changed the world.…
