Khushal age of forteen and Atal nine years old. Malala’s father Ziaudden took one look at Malala’s face and named her Malala. Ziaudden was not only a teacher, but he was the owner of several schools that Malala had attended to. During the first years of her childhood life, her family was poor and had financial problems. Her father was the person who encouraged her to public speaking.
Since young at the age of four, Malala started to love reading books. When she grows up she once said that she wanted to become a teacher, doctor or a politician. She wanted learn and was a bright student. At the age of eleven, she started public speaking about children’s education.

The Taliban did not like that, they were not happy about Malala and they decided to get rid of her. Although the schools were opened again and they stopped fighting, the Taliban wanted revenge. They started threatening Malala that if she does not stop speaking out, they will kill her.
On October 9, 2012 after school, while Malala was taking the school bus back home like usual and chit-chatting with her friends. The bus suddenly stopped and a man wearing a filthy mask carrying a gun entered the bus and looked around the bus.
“Who is Malala?” the man shouted.
Malala’s friends did not say anything, but they all looked at Malala’s face puzzled.
He shot Malala in the head, two of the girls in the bus got injured and Malala fell down. Malala was unconscious and woke up in October 16 saying that she could not remember anything from that incident. She found herself lying down in a bed in a hospital in England and was breathing through a tube in her neck. She was miles away from home and Dr. Javid Kayani was the first person who Malala saw when she became conscious. Her left eye was blurry and tons of questions flew into her mind.
Malala’s story was in the news and the whole world knows about her. Malala’s outstanding and brave behavior made her unique.
