Riley (Kaitlyn Diaz) runs off her five core emotions Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Fear (Bill Hader), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), and Anger (Lewis Black). These emotions assist her throughout the day to overcome struggles and create memories. Joy was an upbeat personality who tends to control most of Rileys attitude/personality while Sadness was often asked to think positive.
