Bill Gay Career
The person whom I Interview is Bill Gay. Bill told me a person who had a tremendous impact as him as a leader. I’ve also asked Bill about what was the most important act important to be a leader. Would be Bill encourage creative thinking for his employees. Bill’s first job was at the YMCA where he learned all his leadership. Another work place is at the police department, then the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority). Lastly he did volunteer work at a graffiti removal. His relation to his daughter was so important he became a role model for her. Also, where Bill’s ideas come from and how he acquires this feats. Furthermore, how Bill influence the employee to become leaders. Finally, Bill told me stores about his previous jobs and he situation he was in.
First question I asked was; can you name a person who has tremendous impact on you as a leader? The first person tremendous impact on Bill was a man name Ron Perry. He worked at the YMCA in LA. Ron Perry was a director at the YMCA while Bill worked at the YMCA part time. While Bill was being mentored by Ron. Bill was watching Ron how respected by the kids at the YMCA. Ron model was to express himself and tell kids to be themselves. Bill worked with young people or minority to improve skills. Ron sees Bill as potential to become a great leader. Bill’s motivation from Ron is what made him a great leader today. I would consider this Primal Leadership since Bill is learning from Ron Perry to become a better leader. Usually when Ron Perry was working at the YMCA with the kids he was always in a good mood which mad the kids want to play with Ron more. Bill saw that in Ron was in a good mood and everyone else will be in a good mood.
Bill said the objective would be the most important to accomplish. Another is to develop techniques and the mission goals. To make a great leader to be able to have guidance, advise, critics, move forward, and to
