I constantly hear things like Mexicans love to party or really love spicy food which i really hate these things, but thanks to my parents constantly reminding me that it's ok to be who i am I usually feel a whole lot better that i would ever be honestly and this leads me to my next quote. “I have come to believe that in order to thrive, a child must have at least one adult in her life who shows her unconditional love, respect, and confidence.” This is so true to anyone growing up. Luckily for me i grew up with two loving parents 2 older brothers and my oldest sibling my sister who basically acts like my second mom. Growing up i was never really the most popular person but coming home there is really no way i could be sad especially with a family like mine. Even when they're mad at eachother you can really tell they feel bad saying those bad things to each other. For me the person who should me the most love to me was my parents. Its really hard to decide who I find more inspiring since they both played a huge part in my life. My mom never really believed in hitting their kids but for some reason i never really seemed to rebel against her and my dad who even though i'm like one of the most unmanly man to ever exist never once should me any disrespect when i couldn't do something my other brothers could. People usually think of other people for role model but it think that Sotomayor is so underrated especially for the latino community. I only talked about three of her quotes she says in the book but honestly the whole book is an amazing quote. She works hard in what she believed in and it turns out to be her happy endings. To me she shows that no matter where you're from or what your background is you can make it if you try hard enough. Of course the mountain to climb might be long and tough but it's what makes the view all the more
