Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. This deprives people of the chance to embrace human privileges and the experiences of life. How narcissistic and inconsiderate would that be? Babies not having a say in regards to their lives, remorselessly it is just snatched from them. I believe abortion is morally wrong because only God has power to give and take life. Despite the baby being in the womb, it is still considered a form of life. In Islam, having an abortion after 120 days of knowing us considered as murder.

Many would agree with the notion that abortion is necessary in certain situations and that is the right thing to do to in order to move on. If a woman was raped and it resulted in an unwanted pregnancy, an abortion would be seen as the appropriate option because it was imposed upon her. Yet, whilst I sympathise, I remain of the belief that abortion is wrong as there are numerous ways through which women who have become pregnant through abuse can seek assistance. What matters is the future potential and ability of that child. Abortion grants the female the opportunity to exercise her personal authority, but what if the baby had a voice?
