Should Abortion Be Outlawed Essay
Abortions, this unethical practice of terminated unborn fetuses should be outlawed. The reasons are abortion is murder and life begins at conception, so unborn babies are human beings with a right to life and If women become pregnant, they should accept the responsibility that comes with producing a child.
Abortion is murder because it's the killing of a human being. According to Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 “the killing of an innocent human being is wrong, even if that human being has yet to be born. Unborn babies are considered human beings by the US government. Reproductive choice protects women from financial disadvantage. Many women who choose abortion don't have the financial resources to support a child. According to Guttmacher Institute, "Induced Abortion in the United States”, 42% of women having abortions are below the federal poverty level”. A baby should not come into the world unwanted. Having a child is an important decision that requires consideration, preparation, and planning. According to Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, "Family Planning Program, “that unintended pregnancies are associated with birth defects, low birth weight, maternal depression, increased risk of child abuse, lower educational attainment, delayed entry into prenatal care, a high risk of physical violence during pregnancy, and reduced rates of breastfeeding”.
I believe abortion is wrong when used for dumb reasons. There are many other things you can do to prevent abortion. The reasons why I don't support it.
