What is the true definition of a hero? A hero is represented as a brave person who is selfless and caring of the wellbeing of their peers. Without heros, the world would be different. People would struggle without help from people around them. The world needs heroes in order for society to be successful. People who help someone, or do a good deed can be classified as a hero, it doesn’t have to be someone who saves someone's life. It can be as simple as giving someone a compliment.
To start, a hero means you overcome difficult challenges in a tough situation. Yet, a hero functions by helping or saving something or someone. Most people think of how a hero should operate in the real world would be like Batman, for example. He saved an entire city and stopped the bad guys. Batman

However, that is not true. Batman isn’t even a real hero. A hero could be as simple as helping an old lady carry in her groceries. The lady might think someone is a hero for helping her. Heroes help the world go smoother, creating less conflict. Their main job is to help others and maintain their wellbeing, to help make the world a better place. How does a hero operate in the real world, exactly? A hero simply goes about their everyday life. They are nice, and are very caring about others. They fit right in with everyone else. For example, in the article "A Soldier Home After Losing His Leg in Afghanistan", Tristan Segers loses his leg in the army after fighting for our country. Truly, that is a hero. Willing to give up their leg and risking their life for our country to be safe, is a hero. Furthermore, Segers is very caring about everyone who helped him with his injury, saying in the article, "I was truly cared for. The rehabilitation was rigorous and I pushed it, building my back
