In my opinion, money cannot truly fulfill our life, because money is not everything and cannot bring us everything we need. Money can buy something we want for the time being, but it cannot make us possess many other things we need for our whole life.
First of all, money does not bring faith to us. I believe that faith is one among the most important things that stimulate us to make our own way to the door of happiness. Faith is essentially related to the non-material, in other words, the spiritual part of human. Money can by no means truly touch about or even influence one’s decent faith. Those who are mammonists have no right to proclaim themselves men with true faith.
Secondly, money cannot provide hope for us. A mentally and physically healthy person should always live in hope whether he is rich or not. Money does offer food, clothes and shelter to us, yet it cannot land our soul in warmth and happiness. Consequently, money cannot make us feel filled with hope.
Finally, money cannot take the place of love. Everyone needs love. One may be poor, but he can be very rich with love and vice versa. As love is always a precious spiritual treasure and is controlled by our heart. Money may fulfill our material demand, but it cannot buy everything that our hearts call for.
In conclusion, as money cannot “buy” us faith, hope and love, the three most important things in our life, we should never think of money as
