Isaac Newton was born January 4, 1643 and died on March 31, 1727. He was one of the most influential people of his time. One of newton’s accomplishments was the designing and constructing of the reflecting telescope in 1668. Newton made discoveries in optics, motion and mathematics.Through this invention isaac newton highly praised. He also used the invention to help him come up with his theory of light. Newton theorized that white light was a composite of all colors of the spectrum, and that light was composed of particles(A&E Television Networks). These discoveries were the very reason why everyone is familiar with his work …show more content…
The story goes, Newton returned home from College to pursue his study of different theories, his school had been closed due to the Great Plague. Around this time he experienced his famous inspiration of gravity with the falling apple. Newton was sitting under an apple tree when an apple fell on his head. This inspired him to come up with the theory of gravity. There is no actual evidence that the apple actually hit newton on the head, he did see an apple fall from a tree, which lead him to wonder why it fell straight down and not floating of to space. He started to explore the theories of motion and gravity. This led him to discover his famous three laws of
