Isaac Newton's Accomplishments

This English physicist and mathematician is best known for his discoveries in optics, motion, and mathematics. His life started off kind of rough but he was able to change that by believing in himself. Isaac Newton is known best for his discoveries in gravity, but he also did many other things in his life. He went through a lot to make people believe he wasn’t wrong and no one believed in his discoveries until after his death. Isaac Newton was born premature on January 4, 1643 and was not expected to live. His father was a farmer and his family wanted him to continue the legacy so they withdrew him from school and tried to turn him into a farmer. Newton failed at farming because he had no interest in it so he was sent back to school to continue
Newton worked on laws of gravity after supposedly be hit by an apple that fell from a tree, there is no evidence that he actually got hit but he did see an apple fall. He also developed the three laws of motion. These laws are what have formed modern physics. Newton also worked in optics where he studied white light and discovered the color spectrum. These experiments with light were what first made him famous. Later in his life he suffered digestion problems that affected his diet and his mobility, this later caused him to blackout and die the next day on March 31, 1772 at the age of 84.
