The art work in the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum got stolen, it only took a whole two minutes for the criminal to steal the art work. It has been missing for twenty-five years. The stolen works are valued at 500 million dollars, making this robbery the largest theft in the American history. The whole stolen art took 2 whole decades to gather hundreds of investigate documents and photos of the missing art work.
The World War ll, Liberty of Congress were sending some of the national treasures to a facility in the Midwest. They were shipping a collection of Walt Whitman's papers, they were sealed in packing so it could be shipped. "The library searched for the notebook-and enlisted the FBI's help-but to no avail. Government" both have paintings, artwork, and papers missing. In the first article, It was stolen. In the second article, it was replaced, and taken out, because it was back in World War ll, when the Midwest was guarded. Whitman's notebook was owned by the U.S. and have been missing since the 1930s.
Finally, the articles were talking about replaced and stolen art work. Stolen art work happened in a museum, and the replaced papers happened in World War ll. In the second article, they used FBI's help, but in the first article they put out at 5 million dollar award out to someone to bring the missing artwork back. In all honesty, you may have not thought that artwork could be stolen, or it could be difficult, but if someone can steal artwork in 2 full minutes and not be caught. That is something to look out
for.
