Firstly, cultural difference is a significant risk for Japan private college. Most online courses fail to address the diversity of their worldwide learners because they ignore the cultural and sub-cultural differences in learning behavior (Boton, 2015). This risk do really threaten this college, like language, if they want to attract more students from abroad, best recommendation to instructors is using English rather than domestic language during classes. The other one risk for online degrees courses is that online degrees might not be accepted by some companies. With the increasing in online education, many educators and employers doubt that quality of online degrees, and they think learning outcomes and experience are unequal compares with traditional courses (Sadik, 2016). It is a common phenomenon that society does not think online degrees has the same quality with traditional ones, so that online degrees are not accepted by everyone. The most important opportunity is that college could choose to provide some popular fields to develop instead of all the fields, as thus attracting students could be easier and quicker. According to the data from Online College Student 2016 (Clinefelter & Aslanian, 2016), undergraduate and postgraduate top fields of study are shown in Chart 1 respectively. It is clear to see that business was the most popular field in both undergraduate and postgraduate study with 26% despite a little bit decrease from 2014 to 2016. In undergraduate fields of study, business were followed by health & medicine and computers & IT, education remained the same percentage which accounts for 8% in two years. However, counseling, Human Services were always the few students’ choice in both undergraduate and postgraduate study in 2016 and keep a decline trend. While in postgraduate study, computers & IT experienced a sharply rise form 9% to 20% within two years and became the second popular field in
