For Jeffrey, this is no exception as he narrates how certain workers in a company were running away due to mistreatment. The company reacted forcefully to crime as the beaten workers who were running away threatened the collapse of the business. These workers were later arrested, with some being burned and others hanged. He narrates how these workers were subjected to all forms of torture. This narration is closely linked to student loan, which has become an indentured servitude. The reader can have a clear picture of how the treatment of these workers are like how the students who are given loans end up being treated in the future. Just as the company has good information about the future by mistreating his workers, lenders of student loans have enough information about what will happen to these students throughout their job experience
