Hollywood, the media’s biggest treasure showed beautiful with various talents, whether it be an Oscar-worthy actor or a reality-show persona famous for just breathing. With the help of these celebrities, the media can build on the image they portrayed and try to get a mass audience to buy into it. A celebrity the media loves to use as a rolemodel is actress Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence is known in the media her relatable and quirky attitude and her love for food. She is often quoted with calling herself a person with an average body who is too “fat” for Hollywood because she eats cheeseburgers on a daily basis. Now, she did acknowledge a problem that Hollywood has with its unhealthy body standars, Jennifer Lawrence is not a average person with an average body. In fact, it probably took her a long time with healthy eating to achieve her body, showing that her love for food could almost be a lie. Hollywood is guilty of using stars like Lawrence and others to portray these standers on us. The worst part? It is extremely unhealthy.
