Jerseys Persuasive Speech
Do you want to spend a titanic amount of money on jerseys you will only wear eight times a year? Spending an enormous amount of money for jerseys that make you stand out is not the best idea. In addition, you will have to pay an extra amount of money if you grow taller and bigger. These reasons and more should make you comprehend what you are immolating for just your last name on a jersey.
These jerseys would take a long time to make, since it is not only you getting the jersey, it is the whole school. If you wanted to get jerseys for the whole school, it would take a long time to make and the jerseys might not be ready for you when you play. This is a hassle for the people that plan out the sports because they have to estimate the time it would take to make the jersey and the time it would take to hand out the jerseys to you. Why would you want to wait for jerseys that might not even be ready for you to wear when you play?

If you were in fifth grade and you wore a jersey, when you reach a higher grade level, you would probably grow bigger and stronger. This therefore means, you will have to spend cash on another jersey, instead of buying daily necessities, like clothing and food. Who wants to sacrifice money on jerseys that don't help you? Many people will agree that this is a waste of your hard earned money.
The personalized jerseys don't improve your style of play. Which means, the only difference between a regular jersey and a personalized jersey is that you get to customize the material and you get your last name on the jersey. This is the reason why some schools don't have personalized jerseys because there is no big difference between the two jerseys. These schools are thinking about what is best for your jerseys, not what you want for the jerseys.

Uniforms are a bad idea because they limit our freedom of expression. Currently, the school has a dress code that says "no big logos or words on shirts or shorts," small logos, including those on soccer jerseys, are permitted. If the school replaces that with uniforms, we will have even less control. Uniforms might give the school a little bit more control over small fights about what is on shirts, but we have not had any fights about what's on shirts in my history at Maclay school. If Maclay adds school uniforms to the dress code every student on campus will look the…

Having uniforms is economical for many parents. The cost of uniforms is significantly less than what a lot of parents pay for unregulated school clothing. Many parents have difficulty finding certain styles or colors to please their children. Others can’t afford to buy clothes every so often. With school uniforms, parents will only have to purchase clothes for weekends affairs, which is hardly economical.…

The best way to approach the situation is for the organization to partner up with a uniform company and create a reasonable and affordable contract to manufacture uniforms and sell them at reasonable prices that the staff can afford. Initially the company may have to provide two or three pairs of uniforms to each staff member and from then on, the staff will be responsible for buying their own. This will make the changing process much easier, because one of the reasons that staff members will come up with to resist the change, will be that they do not have extra money in their budgets to buy new uniforms when they already have plenty of…

To me it doesn’t make sense why that athlete can’t just receive some sort of payoff for that. He was to walk by the school store seeing people wearing his jersey to games, parties, and other events knowing that the work he put in is just going on other people’s backs with no sort of compensation. Now I know the flip argument is “well his compensation is the scholarship he’s receiving” and although that’s a great point, I still believe that the millions of dollars that jersey may bring in to the university could still be given to the athlete. We’re not even talking that much, just a little something for him to go out and get something to eat.…

The final reason why uniforms is an excellent decision is that they are much more affordable then what kids wear nowadays. I see sweaters that can cost up to $40! That's way too expensive for just a sweater. I searched on the internet for school uniforms and a sweater costs only about half price. See how much cheaper it is for uniforms then it is present-day clothing? It's so much easier for your parents to buy uniforms then it is today's style of clothing.…

When kids are forced to wear uniforms it stops them from showing who they are. Many kids like dressing how they like in school and being able to show who they are and what they enjoy doing in life. Such as wearing a basketball shirt to show that they enjoy basketball or anything else that they enjoy. “Clothing is an important part of culture; removing that from developing children and teenageers will effectively create a generation of unsatisfied drones” (Hoofnagle 1). Kids will not be able to show who they are and what they want to be.…

Not all student athletes are on scholarship which means that they have to pay for school with their own money. Paying for school out of your own pocket is definitely not easy especially people who are out of state. For example, I am an out-of-state student athlete, which means I pay about five times more per credit hour, at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University that is not on scholarship. Due to that I do not have enough financial aid to cover my educational fees I have to pay one thousand dollars out of my own pocket. This is money I could have used to purchase me a much needed computer, printer or a laptop. Out-of-pocket money is common among student athletes too, not all of them have scholarships.…

In this blog,”Does a Championship Game Always Need to Have a Winner (and a Loser)?” Turtlebob an author of this said,”the removal of winning a championship game is blasphemous to any sports fan and casual fans and die-hard fans live, sleep, and breath their favorite team.” Furthermore, Turtlebob said,”these people spend their years waiting for their team’s season to start and progress until the postseason.” Fans, play a major role in championship games because it shows affection of how much support and love they have for their teams in a specific sport. Also, fans make the players feel a sense of comfort and show that we made it this far to achieve our goal and prosper the lovable fans. Not only do fans show off their jerseys at the championship games, but also in their free time. For example, when they go out to eat to replenish themselves, they take their jersey to not just show it off, but to show significance on how such a team can bring so many inspiring fans. In the final analysis, not only do fans play a major role in a championship game, but also shows what it takes to be a…
