If you have not been tested, you do not know who you are. If you do not know who you are, you cannot be a leader. A true leader is willing to stand-alone. Leaders must have not only vision and communication skills, but also tremendous personal resolve. Words have power. Jesus statements of “I am” are very loving, powerful, and confident words about himself. You are what you believe to be. He tried to convey to us that we should always believe in ourselves 100 percent, as good leaders should. Jesus kept in constant contact with his boss on daily basis. The CEO’s should keep in constant contact with their board of directors. Jesus stuck to his mission without deviating from and believed in himself, as CEO’s should do. Jesus guarded his energy and also knew how and where to direct it. This may seem as an easy task, but we all have seen that people that get large amounts of money manage to loose it rather quickly. Likewise, people that have unlimited free time usually use it in a wrong directions like, drugs or alcohol. Therefore, having too much can be equally hard as having too little. This is to show us that CEO’s should protect their energy and learn how to manage it correctly. Jesus said “Thank you” because gratitude is a key element of leadership (28). This shows that we have open heart that is filled with faith and belief. Jesus did not waste time judging others and he expressed himself. Judging others is a waste of energy, so we should spend our energy on creation and restoration instead. People often pay others to express them like, actors, politicians, and entertainers because
