Re: Employee Break Room Regulations
The company president Mr. Tucker has asked me to email you all regarding the current state of our employee break rooms. Lately the cleaning staff and company president have been noticing the increasing disregard for the cleanliness in our break areas. There have been repeated instances of spills left on the counter, garbage left behind from lunch breaks, and food spoiling in the refrigerator because it has been left there too long. The president has informed me that he will in fact have the cleaning staff empty the refrigerator daily in order to eliminate spoiled food being left inside of it. I know we are all busy trying to get as much work done as we can here at Tucker Inc., but we all must still take responsibility for our own messiness and clean behind ourselves. I have come up with a few steps that should help us all to keep our break areas neat and clean.
If the table is messy before you sit down clean it. By doing this you will remember to clean after you are done eating.
If the trash is full replace the bag. The cleaning staff only comes in the evening, so the bag might have to be replaced before then.
If you see a sticky spill on the counter, wipe it up!
Ensure that all food wrappers and other trash you may acquire on your break is disposed of before exiting the break room.
If you see a fellow employee leaving a mess, simply remind them of our new employee guidelines.
This memo will be posted on the door of all break rooms through out the building. I appreciate you all and look forward to our cleaner break areas!
Sincerely,
Communications Officer
