Josh Keaton's Spectacular Spider-Man
“With Great Power Comes great responsibility”, a quote said by voice actor Josh Keaton who plays Peter Parker on the cartoon “Spectacular Spider-Man”, which is character is created by None other than Stanley Martin Leiber or more known as “Stan Lee”. (“Josh Keaton”). Stan Lee was a creative and intelligent individual who helped revolutionized the idea of a superhero with him co-creating the marvel universe with a lot of great artists, colors, letterers and etc. and a lot of great characters. Stanley Martin Lieber was born on December 28th 1922 In New York city, New York and raised by his parent Jack and Celia Lee. One example would be stan lee co-created the larger marvel universe. Around the 1960s, Stan lee was in the Comic Book industry for around 20 years, when he turned 40 and he was about to quit. He have previously told his wife Joan the comic book industry was going in the wrong way and the story’s were not exactly doing well, Joan said if the industry was not going well and he wished to change it he should. He created the Fantastic Four in 1961 and turned into a highly successful title. It also spawned characters such as “Incredible Hulk” ,X-men, Spiderman and many more. Another Subtopic could be with him humanizing characters like Spider-Man and etc.. An example could be how Spider-Man was actually a good character to write because him and everyone who reads him can relate to Spider-Man, because he’s in highschool, he has everyday worries and nothing exactly works out for him and he can have dandruff and etc. A final example would be how Stan lee created these characters for all sorts of demographics. Lee referred comic books at the time as basic fairy tales, even for older readers. He even said it had a place among the college community as he inspired for specific classes based on Comic Books.
