Journey To Christianity Research Paper

You know I see things on face book all the time where people are basically trying to voice their opinions about their Christianity. Although many of the things I see posted I total agree with and enjoy reading. There are a few that catch my eye and I say hummmmm. Now do you really think that you are the best person to vocalize this? Not, trying to past judgment on anyone here. Because if I were to do that, I would have to put myself in that same boat, and row it down the stream with everyone else. I know that this here may be considered the same thing; however, I just want to point out one thing or maybe a couple things. Firstly, be careful not to point your bow and arrow in the direction of someone that you think needs to hear what you have
to say more than your self. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God: that verse shows us that its not you, not me, not him, or her it is ALL!!! ALL of us that are sinners and have come short of Gods glory. Our Christian lives can be such an adventure.
This journey can take us up the mountain and down the mountain in a matter of seconds. Sometimes we may be down a dark path that we are fighting to find our way back from. Battling the enemies that Satan throws at us is bad enough we should not have to battle a Christian who is suppose to be there to support us lift us up and help us. Especially in our darkest times. I am only saying this because, when a soul has lost their way in this world and they are a saved person, someone who has completely given their life to Christ. It does not mean that we should ever wash our hands of them, that weary traveler could be you, seeking to find your way back. Suppose it were you, you would definitely want someone to be there throwing you a life saver for how ever long it would take for you to grab a hold of it and hang on. The bible tells us that we are to be Christ like. I have never heard of him not being they’re to pick up all the pieces of our broken lives and put it back together again, his mercy is everlasting. Secondly don’t be Jealous, he may wait years, but like the prodigal son who returned home he is there to welcome you back with open arms. The problem arises when we think that we deserve more than the son who was gone for all
those years. Jealousy begins to build in our hearts. You may have been steadfast in your faith while they just went out and done whatever they wanted. Thus you feel the need to vocalize your feelings. This brings me to the last thing, think about what you are writing and ask yourself how can I say this with out it sounding like, I am trying to point a finger. If it is something that is pointed or, for attack purposes its better to just keep it to yourself. Proverbs 21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. I don’t know about you all, but I don’t need any more trouble in my life. I need to draw near to God, why you say because I want him to hear me. I have walked down that dark path. I know how it is. I am just glad that the Lord’s mercies are renewed daily. Because, it takes some of us longer to figure this stuff out then others. So think before you leap out there to blast someone, instead just stop and pray for them.
