Keeping the Moon has very uninteresting characters and storyline. First off, the characters have very few defining traits. The main character, Colie is a typical main character and the supporting characters aren't really memorable either. The characters also don't feel like people and they just seem like characters in a book. The characters being unmemorable and cliche also weaken the storyline a lot. The story line is cliche because it's just a typical bullying story. The book from the start feels like a typical bullying storyline and it stays this way throughout the book. It also doesn't help that the few interesting characters in the book or interesting plotlines are used for only small parts and are outdone by how bland the rest of the characters and plot lines are in comparison. The characters don’t have many traits that make them relatable, and the few characters that are relatable have very small parts in the book. One plotline is that the main character Collie, has a mother who is very famous ,and this is something that few can relate to. Another part of the book that is unrelatble is the bullying storyline, since this part of the storyline is so cliche it makes it hard for anyone to relate to it. Finally ,the most unrelatable character in this book is the main character Colie, the character is given little to no memorable traits and also has an unrelatable story.
