Keeve Monologue
He was sitting in the dark forest, waiting for her while his last day still danced inside his mind.
My father was loved by all the people in Dromia; he had been the leader in most of the operations on Earth. But for me, he was a bit too in love with humans; all he talked about was ‘we need to help them, Keve’ ‘They are our brothers’ ‘they need us, Keve’ ‘it’s not their fault your mother died’. Sometimes I wonder if he loves humans more than our race, more than he loved my mom.
See here’s the deal, humans kill, and just that. We have tried to help them understand some peace basics, but they think we want to kidnap them and make experiments with their undeveloped brains, or whatever. So before we even land on their filthy planet, they shoot,

Just stay camouflaged, try to copy humans ad that will do” Ha, me? Acting like a human? I don’t think so. – “Oh I forgot! Here, I have some clothes for you” She opened her bag and took a HUGE dress out and handed it to a girl next to me, then a black suit and an interesting set of velvet shorts, tights and a vest. Blue-skin and another guy took them before I could take a step forward. And the last suit, wow, it was special; metal-made and full coverage.
-“Oh, darling, you got the best one! After the dress, of course. It was used for war, and cru-crusades.” Hmm war, great. (Note my sarcasm) Any way, I put it on.
–“Quick people! Or the portal will close!”
One by one we cross.
My first thought is: This water is too cold. Seems like that witch sent us to the ocean, but no, this is too small to be the sea, it seems to be an artificial lake.
A teenager approaches us, he seems amused by our garments because he surely is much less clothed, I thought humans disapproved partial nudity.
-‘’Cool armor, dude! But wouldn’t it be easier to wear a swimsuit? Haha’’. – ‘’And what are you doing in the 21st century queen Victoria? ‘’ he said looking at the girl in the big dress.
We just ignored him and kept walking. I asked her about the others, but she didn’t know where they went either. So we kept

I know your father!”
-“Of course you do…”
-“Why are you here? What’s your plan?”
-“Hmm, I want to find the president of a place called the United States and kill him, basically”
-“Kill him?!?”
-“Yup, he killed my mother, I kill him; human language.”
-“Alright…. I’m here to see a friend; I met in the 2012 operation…”
Before she could get to the end of her story about being friends with a human, a crazy old lady stood in front of us.
-“Oh my god! I love your dress, where did you get it? I need it! “ she says with hearts in her eyes.
-“Hmm I don’t know…”Lyla says abit confused.
-“I know this will sound weird but can you sell it to me?”
-“Sell? I don’t really know how that works…”
-“I’ll give you my outfit and you give me yours. How does that sound?”
-“Err, great. This is kind of suffocating, so… yeah.” She started taking off the dress and the lady quickly stopped her.
-“What are you doing? No no no, come; let’s change at the mall’s bathroom.”
I didn’t feel like waiting, but she was my only company so I waited. Fifteen minutes later she was back with a new and less puffy outfit.
-“Ok, so much better… So, back to our plans, I know my friend lives in a place called Seattle, Washington; which also happens to be in the United

    Simon Krell Monologue

Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

Women often are judged outwardly based on their appearance, focusing their attention to the importance of dressing themselves well in order to balance with the societal pressure. In Deborah Tannen’s essay “Marked Women”, she asks herself that “what style we women could have adopted that would have been unmarked, like the men’s. The answer was none. There is no unmarked woman.” (270) which emphasizes how women can be marked. She implies that women have a certain duty to choose a style and can hardly dress without judgment being passed on their dressing. There are no “unmarked options”, everything we do is “marked”. Women express personas through clothing, reminding me of an observation developed in high school. It was a private Christian high school that had a strict dress code on our uniform. The uniform skirt was long enough to cover our knees, however, girls rolled their skirts up, trying to act pretty and sexy as…

Step by wicked step, my boots sank further and further into the thick, red-tinged land as if the devil himself were dragging my body straight into the depths of hell. The rhythmic squelching stabbed through my rubber soles, radiating pain throughout my soul as it seared everything in its path. Squelch, squelch, squish. My tempo was interrupted by those cursed boots refusing to budge from the stubborn terrain. As if taunting me, the earth unhooked my feet from the damned soil…

Envision walking down the street on a terribly hot summer day, looking over, and seeing a girl in a long sleeve shirt and jeans. You think to yourself, she is completely insane and looks ridiculous wearing the wrong season’s clothes, especially on a day like this. A person can only wonder why someone would ever do that to themselves. Ever since spring of 2013, I am able to express the feeling to need to cover up every inch of your body so that no one is able to see what is underneath. I spent that entire summer in jeans because I was afraid to let the world see what had happened to my body.…
