“Shhh… It's okay.. This is good.. “ The whole time I cried, Bella held me and stroked my hair saying everything …show more content…
is going to be all right. How did I get so lucky with a friend like her?
“What is with the racket? I was asleep.” Jared stumbles out of his room. I let go and wipe my eyes and nose.
“She was crying, you jerk.” I go to the bathroom to try and gain my composure.
“I’m fine… I just…” I make myself as presentable as I possibly could.
“Oh, I’m so sorry.. I didn’t know…”
“She was crying for a good thirty minutes…”
“Shut up Josh! She just lost her family. She’s allowed to cry as much as she wants.” I walk out and sit on the couch.
“I’m fine. I promise. Can we continue with the movie?”
“Wait, I have a question… Will you come and stay with me? I have enough space… Please! It would be like we’re sisters!”
“Yeah, that’d be easier.. I’ll stay with you.” I nodded.
“Great, let us go get your stuff and put it in my car.” I see Rachel and Zane pull in behind Bella’s car.
We step out and Rachel immediately greets us.
“Hey, Bella. It's nice to see you.” Bella steps into Rachel’s awaiting arms.
“Um… Cattie, she is staying with me or awhile…”
“Oh, okay… Her clothes..” Rachel goes around back and opens her backdoor. Bella and Zane put my three suitcases in Bella’s trunk.
“Okay Cattie, are you ready?”
“Yeah, let’s go.” We climb into Bella’s black SUV. As we go to pull out Jared runs out without a shirt on. “Bye, Cattie!”
“Bye..” I say giggling.
“Where the heck is your shirt??” Bella says, stopping the car.
“What? Are my abs too much for you to handle?” Jared says, running up to the car.
“Oh please, Jonathan’s are much better. Buh-bye.” She slams on her gas and drives away.
Jonathan is Bella’s boyfriend… Bella is you average hot chick. Black hair, blue eyes, skinny, and a great body. I’ve never met Jonathan in person, but Bella video chats him and he seems pretty cool. Jonathan has brown hair and baby blue eyes. Jonathan is pretty tall, six foot four. Bella is sixteen; while, Jonathan is seventeen. She comes up to see him almost every weekend. They’re extreme couple goals.
“You know what we need?”
“Taco Bell?”
“Taco Bell, baby. Taco bell. God, I love Taco Bell.” Bella opens the sunroof and rolls down the windows. “Mmhmmm, this is the life.”
After going to Taco Bell, we go back to her house and eat. “Cattie, it’s so nice to see you! You look great!” Julie, Bella’s mom, says, while giving me a big hug. “Hey, same to you! Is Mark at work?” Mark is Julie’s husband. “It's all right that Cattie stays with us right?” “Of course. Cattie, you’re welcome anytime. You’re like family.” Bella says goodbye, and starts toward her room. “It was nice seeing you again, Julie.” “The pleasure is all mine.” I smile and walk towards Bella’s room. “Now we can share clothes! When Abby was still living here, I was never allowed to touch her things.” Abby is Bella’s older sister, she’s pretty uptight. Bella is usually the normal, gossipy girl, but I bring out the weird. I’m the dorky friend. I’m the one who’s weird all the time, friends with almost everyone, I read half the time, everybody loves me, and I bring out the weird in people. (Bella’s words not mine.) But see the bad thing with that is, my guy friends start to think of me as a sister than a possible girlfriend. “This weekend I’m going to Johnnie’s.
Wanna come with?” She smirks because she knows I’ve wanted to meet him for sometime. “His friend will be staying with him…” “Oh, I’m coming, and no setting me up, please.” Bella has been trying to hook me up for the past almost nine years we’ve been best friends. “Oh, fine…” She walks over to her closet and says, “We leave early, tomorrow morning. , and will be staying until the next Friday…” “Next Friday? I thought we’re going for the weekend.” “I usually do, but you need some time away from here… Plus it’ll be fun…” She pulls out a suitcase and starts packing. “Come on, it’s almost nine… We got a lot to pack…” For the next few hours, Bella and I pick out and pack clothes. I’m actually happy to get out, and have a little breath of fresh air. We fall asleep around one after finishing packing.
“Cattie, get up, we need to get on the road.”
I moan and throw the covers off of me.
“The suitcases are already packed up, now let’s go!” She throws the clothes I picked out yesterday at my head.
I get dressed and walk out to the car. “I need coffee.”
“We’ll get some on the way.” As we drive to Jonathan's house, Bella turns on the music and starts screaming the lyrics. I turn it up and join
her.
