The descending passage connects to the ascending passage. These passages are very small as it is about 1m wide and is 1.2m high. The ascending passage leads you up into the Queen's chamber. This name was given to this chamber a few centuries ago and was confusing because the queen's chamber should be in her own pyramid and is supposed to be right next to Pharaoh, Khufu's pyramid. The tunnels have small rectangular things to open them. The King's Chamber's tunnel leads to the treasure of the pyramid up to the outside surface of the pyramid. The tunnel in the Queen's Chamber follows the same thing to open, but isn't reaching outside of the pyramid because no outside peepholes have been discovered by Egyptologists till now. In the 1990s, a tiny robot having a small camera explored the southern secret tunnel of the Queen's Chamber. After traveling about 200 feet (62m), the robot hit with a strange stone door which blocked the passage. One guess of people is that these curious tunnels may have been created so the king's soul would be allowed to travel out and in the pyramid easily and on to the afterlife.
